Symposia

Symposia and The Atheneum are taking reservations for a delightful Mother’s Day brunch this year. Enjoy traditional breakfast dishes alongside a cold seafood station, carving station, dessert, and more. Mom gets a complimentary mimosa and valet. Mother’s Day specials at Stella’s Table in White Lake, which is open for dinner on May 12, includes a special menu for the occasion with drunken shrimp with sun-dried tomatoes, pan-seared scallops, and dessert. Aurora Italiana

Treat mom to a special brunch that features a mimosa, Bloody Mary, and Bellini bar alongside fresh-to-order omelettes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each table gets a rose. Joe Muer

Spend Mother’s Day at either Joe Muer Detroit or Joe Muer Bloomfield Hills and enjoy an extravagant brunch. Some featured items include roasted steamship round of beef, plank-roasted whole Loch Duart salmon, chef-carved Dearborn ham, a sushi bar, and decadent desserts. The buffet is open 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and reservations can be made over the phone. Andiamo

Enjoy a Mother’s Day buffet brunch at Andiamo’s this year. The restaurant’s Mothers’ Day Brunch-to-Go is $49.95 per person, $22 for children ages 5 to 10, and kids under 4 dine free. The brunch will include chef-carved roasted sirloin, honey-glazed ham, specialty pastas, salads, Andiamo’s Chicken Piccata, and many desserts to choose from. Epiphany – Nain Rouge Kitchen

Ephiphany will be offering a wide variety of options for brunch this Mother’s Day. In addition to fresh-squeeze mimosas, find smoked trout pate, avocado toast, mushroom and goat cheese salad, vegetable crude and other appetizers and small plates. Frame

If you’re looking for a spin on typical Mother’s Day dining, then consider dining at Frame. The Hazel Park spot will be collaborating with Chefs Jermond Booze and Amber Beckem to put on a Mother’s Day Soul Sunday Brunch. This event is part of the month-long series, mix.tapeBAR curated by Ryan Patrick Hooper, where attendees dive into the creative interplay of food and music. Each week, the menu is formed around the musical tastes of the chef in residence. From May 8-12, an American soul menu will be paired with classic R&B albums over the decades. Black Rock

Treat mom to an all-you-can-eat buffet that includes breakfast options like French toast sticks, bacon, and scrambled eggs alongside some of Black Rock’s signature dishes including shrimp, Mahi Mahi,chicken, and barbecue ribs. Cucina Lab

In honor of Mother’s Day, Cucina Lab is offering specials all weekend long. On Friday and Saturday, experience a five-course fixed menu and create a flower bouquet for $110 a person. Indulge in a spring Mother’s Day brunch menu featuring sweet and savory dishes for every palate including buttermilk pancakes, omelets, spicy chicken sandwiches, seasonal salads, and more. Café Cortina is offering a special Mother’s Day dining experience with a variety of menu options from lobster to pasta. Choose from mixed wild mushrooms with fresh asiago and truffle oil, a special salad with radicchio, romaine, fennel, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and radishes; roasted boneless prime rib au jus; grilled portabella mushroom with zucchini, carrots, spinach, potatoes, and onion straws; and many more.
